WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (8/19/2015) A 43-year-old man was shot in the stomach and leg at the Adams Four Shopping Center this afternoon, according to reports from the scene.
The shooting happened about 4 p.m. outside of the Fresh Grocer supermarket, along the 200 block of N. Monroe St. The shopping center just east of I-95 is bounded by Monroe, Second, Adams and Fourth streets.
Witnesses said they saw one female and two males running from the scene.
After he was shot, the victim ran into the store and collapsed in front of a security guard.
He was taken by private vehicle to Wilmington Hospital. Police said this evening he was in stable condition.
