10-year-old boy shot in Wilmington in critical condition

WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (8/18/2015) A 10-year-old boy was in critical condition after being shot in the head in Wilmington early today, city police said.

The incident happened about 1:50 a.m. in the 700 block of Townsend Place in the Southbridge area.

The victim was treated at the scene by New Castle County paramedics and taken to Nemours/A.I. DuPont Hospital for Children in Rockland.
