HARRINGTON, DELAWARE (8/8/2015) A gunman robbed the Super 8 Motel on U.S. 13 in Harrington, city police said Friday.
The robbery happened about 12:10 a.m. Thursday at 17010 South DuPont Highway.
Lt. Earl Brode said the robber was a black man, 5-feet-8 to 6 feet, 150-160 pounds and wearing dark pants, a black hooded sweatshirt, gloves and a partial mask.
He entered the lobby through the front door , displayed a black handgun and demanded cash from an employee.
The gunman fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, Brode said.
