26-year-old man shot in Wilmington in critical condition; suspect arrested

WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (2/12/2018) A 26-year-old man shot in Wilmington early today was in critical condition at a hospital, city police said.

The shooting, which police called domestic related, happened about 2:15 a.m. in the 2200 block of N. Pine St.

Police said the victim was wounded in the face. He was treated at the scene by New Castle County paramedics, then taken by ambulance to Christiana Hospital in Stanton.

A suspect was apprehended inside a home, police said, but no other details were released.
