M&T Bank robbed in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (11/13/2015) An M&T Bank branch was robbed Thursday, city police reported.

It was the second robbery at the bank this month, although a suspect has been arrested in the earlier one.

The latest robbery happened just before 11:30 a.m. at 1207 N. Union St.

A man believed to be in his late 30s handed a note to a teller demanding  money, and the teller complied.

The robber was last seen heading south on North Union Street.

Police with K-9s searched but were unable to locate the man.

A surveillance image was later released by police.

The robber was described as 5-feet-8 to 5-feet-11.
