UPDATED STORY: Same man sought in robbery of WSFS bank in Brandywine Hundred
WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (11/6/2015) City police today named a suspect in the robbery of an M&T Bank branch earlier this week.
Police said William Winchester, 46, of Wilmington, is sought in the robbery of the bank at 1207 N. Union St. on Tuesday.
A weapon was implied but not seen in the robbery and the man fled on foot with cash.
Williams is wanted on a first-degree robbery charge as well as violation of probation. Police said he also is a high-risk sex offender.
Police said anyone seeing Winchester should call 911 immediately.
