Dover police arrest 2 men on drug charges

DOVER, DELAWARE (11/13/2015) Two Dover men were arrested on drug charges after police seized drugs at their home, city police said today.

The arrests at 30 S. Governors Ave. happened about 12:10 p.m. Tuesday.

Police said they seized 511 grams of marijuana, 5.8 grams of crack cocaine and 12.1 grams of PCP as well as numerous paraphernalia items used for weighing, packaging, and selling narcotics.

As a result of the warrant, Julius Powell (28) and Oscar Peterson (28), both of 30 South Governors Avenue, were arrested.

Julius Powell, 28, was being held at Vaughn Correctional Center near Smyrna in lieu of $49,000 secured bond onon these charges:

• Possession with Intent to Deliver Cocaine

• Possession with Intent to Deliver PCP

• Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana

• Possession of a Tier 2 Qty of PCP

• Possession of Marijuana (Tier 1 Qty)

• Conspiracy 2nd Degree

• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Oscar Peterson, 57, was being held at Vaughn on $36,500 secured bond on these charges:

• Possession with Intent to Deliver Cocaine

• Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana

• Possession of Marijuana (Tier 1 Qty)

• Conspiracy 2nd Degree

• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
