WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (10/29/2015) A monthlong project that will squeeze northbound Interstate 495 traffic begins at 8 tonight.

The work is happening on the bridge over Terminal Avenue, and will close the on-ramp from Terminal Avenue to northbound I-495 as well, the Delaware Department of Transportation says.

A contractor, Eastern Highway Specialists, will be repairing bridge joints. The right lane and shoulder will be closed, with one lane open at all times.

DelDOT says the work is scheduled to be completed by the end of November.
