CHRISTIANA, DELAWARE (10/28/2015) A 33-year-old woman was seriously injured this afternoon in a two-vehicle accident on southbound Route 1 near Christiana Mall.
The crash happened about 4:30 p.m., said Sgt. Michael A. McColley of New Castle County paramedics.
The woman was treated by paramedics for head and facial injuries and a possible leg injury. She was taken to Christiana Hospital by a Christiana Fire Company ambulance.
Delaware State Police are investigating the crash.
