Man shot in leg at Dover Elks Lodge

DOVER, DELAWARE (6/4/2015) A 41-year-old man was shot in the leg by a drive-by shooter while standing outside the Elks Lodge in Dover,  city police said Wednesday.

The incident happened about 12:25 a.m. Monday at 217 N. Kirkwood St.

The man was struck when someone in a sedan driving south on Kirkwood fired three rounds toward a group of people standing outside the lodge, Lt. Jason Pires said.

The victim was driven by a family member to Bayhealth Kent General Hospital.
