Bullet strikes home in Dover

DOVER, DELAWARE (6/3/2015) A bullet went through the front window of a home in the 100 block of Irma St., traveled across the room and and lodged in a rear door frame, Dover police reported today.

No one was reported injured.

The couple who live in the home said they heard no gunshot but police said it is believed to have been fired between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. Friday.

Lt. Jason Pires said the evidence at the scene indicated it likely was fired from the area of Simon Circle and Reese Street.
