1 dead, 2 hurt in Naamans Road crash

BRANDYWINE HUNDRED, DELAWARE (6/27/2015) A woman was killed and two other people were injured in a two-vehicle collision this morning at Naamans and Darley roads, according to Delaware State Police.

The woman killed was identified as Debora S. Vagnoni, 56, of Wilmington.

She was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Malibu north on Darley Road just after 7 a.m. and was crossing Naamans Road on a green light, police said.

Her car was struck on the driver’s side by an eastbound 2013 Dodge Caravan driven by Thomas Felock, 70, of Wilmington. Police said Felock failed to stop for a red light.

A passenger in the Malibu, Anthony Vagnoni, 32, of Rehoboth Beach, was admitted to the ICU at Christiana Hospital and is in critical but stable condition, police said.

Felock also was taken to Christiana with injuries not life-threatening, police said.

Both occupants.of the Malibu were not wearing seat belts, police said, but Felock was.

Traffic was detoured around the area about two hours.
