UPDATED STORY: Wilmington man charged in murder of woman
WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (10/2/2017) A 31-year-old woman was found stabbed to death Sunday in a portable toilet in Kirkwood Park in Wilmington, city police said.
A man walking his dog discovered the body at the east end of the park at 11th and Spruce streets about 9:30 a.m.
The victim was covered in blood and had suffered several stab wounds, police said.
Police said the witness had seen feet protruding from the portable toilet and went home for his phone, then returned to the park with his girlfriend. They then called police.
