WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (9/8/2017) A man shot in Wilmington on Thursday was in critical condition, city police said.
The shooting happened about 4:30 p.m. at Cedar and Anchorage streets.
The victim suffered gunshot wounds to his upper torso.
He was treated at the scene by New Castle County paramedics and taken by ambulance to Christiana Hospital in Stanton.
Police closed several blocks around the scene as they investigated.
