WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (8/4/2017) Two 22-year-old men were wounded by gunfire in the 1100 block of Maryland Ave. on Thursday night, Wilmington police said.
The shooting was reported about 7:30 p.m.
One victim, with a gunshot wound to his right lower leg, was found in the 1200 block of Cedar St.
He was treated at the scene by New Castle County paramedics, then taken by ambulance to Christiana Hospital in Stanton in stable condition, police said.
The second man, with a wound to his abdomen, arrived at the St. Francis Hospital emergency room. He was in stable condition.
