HOCKESSIN, DELAWARE (10/4/2016) A robber with a large knife escaped with cash from a Hockessin liquor store, Delaware State Police reported this morning.
The robbery at Westgate Wines & Spirits, 4115 Newport Gap Pike (Route 41), happened about 10 p.m. Saturday.
The robber was last seen fleeing on foot to the south across Newport Gap Pike. He was described as having thin build and was wearing a dark shirt and shorts, with his face covered.
The two clerks in the store were not hurt.
