UPDATED STORY: Middletown Village fire ruled accidental

MIDDLETOWN, DELAWARE (8/28/2016) Fire broke out in the Middletown Village community this afternoon, damaging five townhomes, according to reports a from the scene.

Two firefighters were injured.

The blaze broke out about 4:30 p.m. in the 200 block of Vincent Circle.

Flames heavily damaged three of the homes and there was smoke and water damage to two others.

Middletown firefighters were assisted by others from nearby fire companies.
