WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (2/28/2016) A 41-year-old man was shot in the leg and face in Wilmington on Saturday night, city police said.
The incident happened about 9:15 p.m. in the 2100 block of N. Pine St.
Officers arrived to find the victim in the 2200 block with wounds to the left side of his face and his right lower leg.
He was treated at the scene by New Castle County paramedics and taken by ambulance to Christiana Hospital in Stanton in stable condition, police said.
Police are still investigating the shooting and asked anyone with information to call Detective William Ball at 302-576-3620.
