27-year-old man charged in Pike Creek road rage

PIKE CREEK, DELAWARE (1/13/2016) A 27-year-old man has been charged in a road rage incident in Pike Creek last month, Delaware State Police said Tuesday.

Adam T. Meadows, of Wilmington, was charged with reckless endangering and criminal mischief after he turned himself in to police on Thursday.

The road rage incident Dec. 20 began on Stoney Batter Road and continued on Limestone Road.

Meadows’ vehicle was later spotted in a development off Stoney Batter Road, police said.

“It was learned Meadows was upset during the incident and quickly grabbed BB pellets and threw them back at the victim’s truck causing his window to shatter along with damaging the upper area of the driver’s side bed and the driver’s door. The driver was not injured,” police said in a news release.

Meadows was released on $7,500 unsecured bond.
