18-year-old man shot in Wilmington in critical condition

WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (1/3/2016) An 18-year-old man was in critical but stable condition after a shooting in Wilmington this afternoon, city police said.

The shooting happened about 1:30 p.m. in the 600 block of W. Fifth St.

Police arrived to find the victim with a gunshot wound to his left side. He was taken by ambulance to Christiana Hospital in Stanton.
