19-year-old man shot in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (11/21/2015) A 19-year-old man was in stable condition after a shooting in Wilmington on Friday night, city police said.

The incident was reported at 6:48 p.m. in the area of 20th and West streets.

Police said the victim was found in a home with a wound to the torso.

He was treated at the scene by New Castle County paramedics and taken by ambulance to Christiana Hospital in Stanton.

He had been walking in the area when shots were fired and he was struck.

Police said they could not locate the exact scene of the shooting and they had no suspect information.
