DOVER, DELAWARE (10/23/2015) Delaware State Police say the second suspect in a home invasion that left two people dead and another wounded  in the Rodney Village community south of Dover last week is now in custody.

Saleem Shabazz, 21, of Philadelphia, was taken into custody about 5 p.m. Thursday in the first block of E. Jacoby St. in Norristown, Pennsylvania.

Shabazz, who faces a first-degree murder charge in Delaware, is being held at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1 million cash bail while awaiting extradition, Delaware State Police said.

Clifton Leager, 52,  was pronounced dead Saturday at the scene in the 1400 block of John Clark Road, where he lived. He was shot during a struggle with the intruders, police said.

Leager’s adult son, whose name has not been released, was wounded during the struggle but chased after the intruders, police said. He was treated at a local hospital and released.

Haley Henwood, 18, of Philadelphia, was killed during the foot chase. She was pronounced dead at a local hospital. Police had said earlier they were not certain what her involvement was in the incident, and they offered no new details today.

The arrest was a combined effort of Delaware State Police,  the First State Fugitive Task Force, the Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force and the Norristown Police Department.

Police are still investigating the crime and asked anyone with information to contact Detective D. Grassi at 302-365-8441.
