3 Wilmington shooting victims in stable condition

WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (10/23/2015) City police say three men wounded by gunfire Thursday night were taken to a hospital in stable condition.

The shootings were reported at 7:37 p.m. in the 800 block of Vandever Ave.

One victim, a 29-year-old man, suffered a wound to his left hip and buttocks. Another was a 27-year-old man with wounds to his left hip and buttocks. Both were found in the 800 block.

The third victim, a 20-year-old man, was found in the 900 block of Vandever Ave. with wounds to his left arm and left leg.

All three were treated at the scene by New Castle County paramedics and taken to Christiana Hospital in Stanton.

Police said they found numerous shell casings in the 800 block of Vandever and they are still investigating.
