TYBOUTS CORNER, DELAWARE (9/8/2015) A Valero Shore Stop gas station/convenience store was robbed at gunpoint early today, Delaware State Police said.
The robbery happened about 3 a.m. at 891 S. DuPont Higway (U.S. 13), at the intersection with Bear and Hamburg roads.
Two men, one armed with a handgun, confronted a female clerk and demanded money from the register. She turned over an undisclosed amount of cash.
The robbers also removed several cartons of cigarettes from a display, then fled.
No one was injured.
The gunman was described as black, 30-40 years old, 6-feet-1 and 180-200 pounds. He was wearing a black T-shirt, tan shorts and had a black mask covering his face.
The other robber was black, 20-30 years old, 6-feet-1 and 175-200 pounds. He was wearing a black T-shirt and blue jeans.
