UPDATED STORY: Wilmington murder suspect arrested
WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (8/16/2015) A 32-year-old Wilmington man was shot to death in the 800 block of Vandever Ave. late Saturday night, city police reported this morning.
The victim of the shooting about 11:20 p.m. was identified as Markevis Clark.
The first officers on the scene found Clark down on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to the head.
The officers began life-saving efforts until New Castle County paramedics arrived and the victim was taken to Wilmington Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
