UPDATED STORY: 2nd man charged in murder of Latrice Blackshear
WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (8/11/2015) About two dozen people gathered for a vigil this evening remembering a 25-year-old woman shot to death the day before in the 400 block of W. Seventh St.
Latrice Blackshear was shot just before 2 p.m. and pronounced dead after being taken to Wilmington Hospital.
Her 4-year-old daughter, also wounded in the shooting, remains in stable condition after being transferred Monday to Nemours/A.I. DuPont Hospital for Children. Police said a 51-year-old wounded woman also remains in stable condition.
Police are still investigating the shootings and asked anyone with information to call Detective Thomas Curely at 302-576-3625.
