SMYRNA, DELAWARE (8/10/2015) A shooting took place Sunday night in the Sunnyside Acres development, Smyrna police reported today.
The incident happened about 9 p.m. in the 100 block of Belmont Ave.
Detectives are investigating but think what began as an altercation was a failed robbery attempt.
“Due to the ongoing investigation and sensitivity of certain information no further details will be provided at this time,” Cpl. Brandon Dunning said.
