UPDATED STORY: 2 arrested in robbery of elderly woman outside Kohl’s in Glasgow

GLASGOW, DELAWARE (8/9/2015) An 84-year-old woman was injured when she was robbed in the parking lot of the Kohl’s store in Glasgow, according to Delaware State Police.

The crime happened about 12:15 p.m. Saturday at 2800 Pulaski Highway (U.S. 40).

The male robber approached the woman from behind, grabbed her purse and pushed her to the ground, police said.

He then fled with the purse in a white Chevrolet S10 pickup truck.

The victim was taken by ambulance to Christiana Hospital for treatment of injuries not life-threatening, police said.

The robber was described as black, about 5-feet-11, 170-200 pounds and was wearing a white T-shirt, jean shorts and sneakers.
