Man charged with arson in Brandywine Hundred house fire

BRANDYWINE HUNDRED, DELAWARE (7/16/2015) A Wilmington man has been charged with setting a fire at a Brandywine Hundred home earlier this week.

Christopher Unruh, of the 500 block of W 22nd St. was charged with arson 3rd degree and reckless endangering 1st degree in connection with the blaze in Weldon Park.

He was arraigned and released on $7,000 unsecured bail, said Robert Fox, chief deputy state fire marshal.

The fire caused about $250,000 in damage to the house. No one was injured.
