2 taken to hospital after Marsh Road crash

ARDEN, DELAWARE (6/14/2015) Two drivers were taken to a hospital after their vehicles collided on Marsh Road along Arden’s northern border this morning, according to reports from the scene.

A Ford Explorer and a Toyota Prius were involved in the crash  about 10 a.m. at Chestnut Street.

Both vehicles went off the road into trees.

The driver of the Prius was trapped in the vehicle and extricated by Claymont firefighters.

One driver was flown to Christiana Hospital and the other was taken by ambulance.

The crash is being investigated by Delaware State Police.
