Gunman flees empty-handed at Valero in Glasgow

GLASGOW, DELAWARE (6/5/2015) A gunman fled empty-handed when an employee refused to turn over cash at a Valero gas station in Glasgow on Thursday night, Delaware State Police said.

The robbery try happened about 8 p.m. at 2565 Pulaski Highway (U.S. 40).

The 42-year-old employee was not injured, police said.

The robber fled to the north.

He was described as white, 35-45 years old, about 5-feet-9 and with medium build. He was wearing a yellow hooded sweatshirt.
