Road repairs to close I-95 ramp in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (5/4/2015) Patching of the concrete road surface will close an Interstate 95 ramp in Wilmington for two weeks starting Tuesday, DelDOT announced this morning.

The northbound I-95 on-ramp from Delaware and Pennsylvania avenues at Adams Street to the Brandywine Bridge will be closed starting at 7 a.m.

The closure is scheduled to end by 3 p.m. May 19, but the work is dependent on the weather.

JJID Inc. is contractor for the project.

Detour routes

Delaware/Pennsylvania avenues will be detoured to Van Buren Street to Gilpin Avenue
to Jackson Street onto West 10th Street to I-95 northbound.

Lovering Avenue will be detoured to either Harrison Street onto Delaware/Pennsylvania avenues to Jackson Street onto West 10th Street to I-95 northbound or motorists may take North Adams Street onto South Park Drive to Van Buren Street to North Harrison Street onto Delaware/Pennsylvania avenues onto Jackson Street to West 10th Street to I-95 northbound.
