WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (4/30/2015) Construction will cause various closures at the Interstate 95/U.S. 202 interchange (Exit 8) north of Wilmington starting Friday and ending May 11, DelDOT reported this morning.
A contractor, Mumford and Miller Concrete Inc., will be repaving the roadway.
7 p.m. Friday, May 1, until 11 p.m. Sunday, May 3
Ramp from southbound U.S. 202 (Concord Pike) to southbound I-95 will be closed.
Detour: South on U.S. 202, take ramp to northbound I-95, take Exit 9/Marsh Road and make a left at the bottom of the ramp onto Carr Road, make a left onto Marsh Road and make a left onto the ramp to southbound I-95.
The right lane on southbound I-95 also will be closed from the U.S. 202 bridge to just north of the Brandywine Bridge.
10 p.m. Wednesday, May 6 until 5 a.m. Thursday, May 7
Left lane closed on northbound I-95 from the Brandywine Bridge to just north of the southbound U.S. 202 ramp to northbound I-95.
10 p.m. Thursday, May 7, until 5 a.m. Friday, May 8
I-95 northbound CLOSED at Exit 8
Detour: Traffic will be detoured to the ramp to northbound U.S. 202, continue to Naamans Road, turn right onto Naamans and follow to I-95 Exit 11.
10 p.m. Friday, May 8, until 5 a.m. Saturday, May 9
Right lane closed on northbound I-95 from the Brandywine Bridge to just north of the U.S. 202 southbound ramp to I-95 northbound.
5 a.m. Saturday, May 9, until 5 a.m. Monday, May 11
I-95 northbound CLOSED at Exit 8
Detour: Traffic will be detoured to the ramp to northbound U.S. 202, continue to Naamans Road, turn right onto Naamans and follow to I-95 Exit 11.

Detour: Traffic on U.S. 202 southbound directed to make a left on Market Street/Philadelphia Pike, make a left onto Marsh Road and follow Marsh Road to the northbound I-95 ramp.
Signs will be posted to direct motorists.
