LAUREL, DELAWARE (3/22/2015) A Milford woman was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash east of Laurel, state police reported today.
The accident happened shortly before 10 a.m. Saturday on East Trap Pond Road just south of Johnson Road.
Kristina Ray, 45, was driving a 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe northbound when for unknown reason the vehicle crossed the southbound lanes and struck a cement pole support, police said.
She was taken by ambulance to Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Maryland. Police described her injuries as not life-threatening. She was wearing a seat belt.
Police said the crash is still under investigation but alcohol is not being considered a factor in the crash.
