WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (3/21/2015) A 21-year-old Wilmington man was shot in his leg, city police reported this evening.
The victim was taken to Christiana Hospital by private vehicle about 1:30 p.m., and later told officers he was shot in the area of Sixth and North Jefferson streets.
But police said officers could find no shooting scene near there and no spot-shotter alert was received.
About 12:40 p.m., police had received information of a possible shooting in the 800 block of N. Madison St., but could find no victim there.
