393 bags of heroin, stun gun seized; 3 charged

MILFORD, DELAWARE (3/5/2015) Three people were arrested on drug charges Wednesday after multiple homes were searched by officers in the Milford and Georgetown areas, police said today.

A four-month joint investigation by Milford and Georgetown police led to the arrests, said Detective Dwight Young of Milford police.  The searches also involved state, Ocean View and Dover police.

Young said officers seized more than 393 bags of heroin, small quantities of cocaine and marijuana, a stun gun and more than $500 in cash.

Eric D. Walston, 34, of Milford, was charged with possession of a controlled substance (heroin) tier 5 quanity, possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession of a deadly weapon by person prohibited, conspiracy, possession of marijuana, endangering the welfare of a child, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cocaine. Walston was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution in lieu of  $58,300 secured bond.

Jayme L. Wyatt, 29, of Georgetown, was charged with possession of a controlled substance (heroin) tier 5 quantity, possession with intent to deliver heroin, conspiracy, possession of marijuana, endangering the welfare of a child, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cocaine. Wyatt was released on $38,300 unsecured bond.

Lyndon F. Hitchens, 49, of Georgetown, was charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia. Hitchens was committed to Sussex Correctional in lieu of $5,500 secured bond.

Tiffany L. Craft, 24,  of Millsboro, was not charged as a result of the search warrants, but police said she was wanted on multiple outstanding warrants out of various courts and released on unsecured bond.
