GameStop store in Newark robbed at gunpoint

NEWARK, DELAWARE (2/9/2015) A GameStop store at 326 Suburban Drive was robbed at gunpoint, Newark police reported today.

The crime happened about 9 p.m. Friday, Cpl. James Spadola said.

Employees told officers that three people entered the store with one showing a handgun. They escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash.

One robber was described as about 5-feet-9 to 6 feet, average build, with a black jacket and red sweatpants. He was carrying a black handgun.

The second was about 6 feet tall, thin build and wearing a black jacket and dark patnts.

The third was 5-feet-8 to 5-feet-10, medium build and wearing a black hoodie and dark pants.
