Game Stop store in Bear robbed at gunpoint

DSP logoBEAR, DELAWARE (1/27/2015) Three young men held up a Game Stop store in Bear at gunpoint on Monday, state police said today.

It was the second robbery of a Game Stop store this week, following one in Glasgow on Sunday.

The latest robbery happened about 8:55 p.m. at 1015 Governor’s Place.

One of the robbers, armed with a handgun, confronted a 35-year-old clerk while two others acted as lookouts. The employee handed over cash from the register and the three robbers fled, running south, Master Cpl. Jeffrey Hale said.

The male clerk was not injured.

Hale said the robbers were 20-25 years old. The gunman was about 5-feet-10 and 170-180 pounds. Another was 6 feet tall and 180-190 pounds. The third was wearing a mask and all three wore dark clothing.
