GLASGOW, DELAWARE (2/6/2015) A 64-year-old man died who died this afternoon when his SUV went off Frenchtown Road and into a tree just east of the Maryland line has been identified.
Robert Whitlock, of Northeast, Maryland, was pronounced dead at the scene of the single-car crash on Frenchtown Road near the Maryland line.
Whitlock was the only occupant of the vehicle and was trapped inside, according to reports from the scene.
Frenchtown Road was closed in the area as New Castle County police investigated.
