NEWARK, DELAWARE (2/6/2015) Two armed robbers hopped the counter and emptied two cash drawers at the Embassy Suites hotel early this morning before fleeing, Newark police said.
The crime happened about 1:20 a.m. at 624 S. College Ave.
The clerk was not injured, Cpl. James Spadola said.
He said a third unarmed male also was involved, described as of thin build and wearing red or pink pants and a black hoodie.
One of the others was about 5-feet-9, medium build, wearing black clothing and armed with a handgun.
The other was also about 5-feet-9, medium build, wearing a black hoodie, red pants and armed with a handgun.
