Hundreds join search for missing woman

CHESWOLD, DELAWARE (1/25/2015) Hundreds of people signed up at the Cheswold fire hall to join in the search for a missing 35-year-old woman this morning.

Keisha S. Hamilton was last seen at her home on East Cayhill Lane in the Twin Willows development south of Smyrna on Jan. 9.

An Amber Alert was issued the next day for her two missing children, who were later found safe in Indiana with their father, Cortez A. Hamilton.

Cortez Hamilton faces charges of assault, possession of a deadly weapon during commission of a felony and endangering the welfare.

He waived  extradition in Indiana and was brought back to Delaware on Thursday.

A Gold Alert was issued Jan. 10 for Keisha Hamilton and it remains active, state police said.
