BP gas station robbed near New Castle

NEW CASTLE, DELAWARE (12/24/2014) A BP Gas Station near New Castle was robbed  by a masked gunman, state police reported Monday.

The crime happened about 5 p.m. Sunday at 1713 New Castle Ave. (Route 9).

The male robber, about 5-feet-9 and wearing black clothing and white sneakers, armed with a handgun, demanded money from the register. A 31-year-old male employee complied and the robber fled with the cash. The employee was not hurt.
