ELLENDALE, DELAWARE (12/23/2014) A 64-year-old Ellendale man struck by a car while he was bicycling Friday died today of his injuries, state police said.
Police said Collin Worth, who was not wearing a helmet, sustained a traumatic head injury and died at Christiana Hospital in Stanton, where he had been flown after the crash.
The accident happened about 7:15 p.m. on Hummingbird Road near Milton-Ellendale Highway (Route 16) just east of Ellendale.
Police are still investigating and no charges have been filed.
