BRANDYWINE HUNDRED, DELAWARE (7/23/2018) Six people were injured, two of them critically, in a crash involving a motorcycle and a small car, authorities said.
The crash happened about 1:20 a.m. Saturday at Naamans Road (Route 92) and Ebright Road.
Paramedic First Class Yvonne T. Russell gave this account:
A 25-year-old man, the driver of the motorcycle, suffered injuries to his arm, chest and knee. He was taken to Christiana Hospital by Claymont Fire Company ambulance in critical condition.
A 51-year-old woman suffered injuries to her leg and abdomen. She was taken to the hospital by a Delaware State Police helicopter in critical condition.
A 25-year-old woman suffered injuries to her shoulder, leg and ankle. She was taken to the hospital by Claymont Fire Company ambulance in serious condition.
A 22-year-old woman suffered injuries to her face, arm and back. She was taken to the hospital by Brandywine Hundred Fire Company ambulance in serious condition.
Another 22-year-old woman suffered injuries to her face, chest and knee. She was taken to the hospital by Holloway Terrace Fire Company ambulance in stable condition.
A 24-year-old man suffered injuries to his face and hand. He was taken to a hospital by Talleyville Fire Company ambulance in stable condition.
The crash is under investigation by Delaware State Police.
