Wilmington stabbing victim, 37, in critical condition

WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (1/13/2018) The victim of a stabbing in Wilmington this morning was taken to Christiana Hospital in Stanton in critical condition, according to city police.

Police said they found the 37-year-old man about 11 a.m. in the 700 block of Warner St. He had wounds to the neck area and abdomen.

The man told officers he had been stabbed on Sycamore Street.

Police said they are still investigating and asked anyone with information to submit tips through Delaware Crime Stoppers, which offers rewards, at 800-847-3333 or www.delaware.crimestoppersweb.com. Tips may be submitted anonymously.

New Castle County paramedics also responded.
