Man in critical condition after Wilmington shooting

WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (12/10/2017) A 46-year-old man was in critical condition after being shot in the neck this morning, Wilmington police said.

The shooting happened about 6 a.m. in the 200 block of N. Rodney St. 

The victim, suffering a single gunshot wound, was found on the sidewalk. He was treated at the scene by New Castle County paramedics, then taken by ambulance to Christiana Hospital in Stanton, where he underwent surgery, police said.

Police said they had no suspect information.
