WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (9/24/2017) Two victims of a double shooting in Wilmington were walking in the 1100 block of Beech St. when they were wounded, city police said.
The shooting happened about 8 p.m. Saturday.
The first officers on the scene found the two men with gunshot wounds to the legs.
A 35=year-old man suffered a single wound to his right ankle.
A 44-year-old man was shot once in his right foot.
Both victims were taken by ambulance to St. Francis Hospital in stable condition, police said.
Nine shell casings were found, according to reports from the scene.
Police said the suspect was an unknown male wearing a baseball cap. Witnesses saw him running south on South Van Buren Street.
