Man shot in Wilmington was in argument

WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (6/22/2017) A 45-year-old man shot in the chest in Wilmington late Wednesday night was in an argument with someone before he was wounded, city police said today.

The shooting happened about 10:40 p.m. in the 2900 block of N. Tatnall St.

The victim, 45 years old, was found by police at the curb in front of 2913 N. Tatnall.

He was treated by New Castle County paramedics, then taken by ambulance to Christiana Hospital in Stanton.

Initial reports from the scene indicated the victim was in critical condition, and police later said he was in stable condition.
