WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (5/24/2017) A young man was found wounded after a shooting in Wilmington this morning, city police said.
The shooting happened about 10:30 a.m. in the 1200 block of Elm St.
After an officer reported hearing shots in the area, police found the victim, believed to be in his 20s, down in the street with a wound to the upper leg.
He was treated at the scene by New Castle County paramedics, then taken by ambulance to Christiana Hospital in Stanton.
