2 men wounded in Wilmington shooting

WILMINGTON, DELAWARE (5/17/2017) Two men were wounded in a shooting in Wilmington on Tuesday, city police reported.

The incident happened about 4:30 p.m. at a home in the 100 block of W. 26th St.

A 29-year-old man was wounded in his left, upper leg area.

He was treated at the scene by New Castle County paramedics and flown by Delaware State Police helicopter to Christiana Hospital in Stanton, police said.

A 39-year-old man was wounded in the abdomen. He was treated by paramedics and taken by ambulance to Christiana Hospital.

Police said both men were in stable condition.
